Petition Review employment regulations for care workers

We urge the Government to review employment regulations for care workers, including health & safety and work breaks in care homes, increasing the number of carers per residents in care homes, and looking into the lack of time for some carers to get between patients’ homes.

We would also like the review to include looking into encouraging more carers to enter the care industry. We believe this review will ensure carers have enough time to recover from sickness with pay, that carers have more time for one-on-ones with patients, and to promote working within the care industry.
