Rejected petition Reject plans to allow 16 year old voting in UK
Reject plans to allow 16 yr olds voting in General elections.
More details
16 yr olds are not adults and are currently restricted from participating in adult activities like smoking, drinking and more. Why put the pressure of adult decisions onto a child.16 yr olds have enough pressure on them already such has exams and finding six form/college placements.Let them have the two years to sort out their education before they are legally allowed to vote.
