Rejected petition Make it compulsory for employers to let ALL applicants know if unsuccessful
Make it compulsory for employers to let every applicant know if they have been successful or not in their application, especially for rejections.
More details
With an ongoing cost of living crisis, and jobs being in high demand, those searching for employment are applying to every job they can. Within hundreds of applications only a very few may lead to interview, or even to a notification of rejection. Employers should have the courtesy to let applicants know if their application has been rejected, even with a generic email, to ensure applicants do not hold false hope that they may be successful, and to put their time and energy into other pursuits.
