Rejected petition Deploy a Royal Navy ship to the English Channel to stop the human trafficking.

The Royal navy are stationed all over the globe to protect our interests. Use the Royal Navy for their intended purpose to protect the UK and deploy a navy ship or ships to the English Channel to arrest people who are human trafficking and to save anymore lives from been lost at sea.

More details

Too many people are been trafficked into the UK by gangs, lots are loosing their lives at sea. We have the legal right to protect our borders and our oceans. We already pay sailers and have built amazing ships that are sat around dormant already paid for. We could deploy one of these ships to arrest smugglers, save lives at sea and stop small boat crossings. This would be a massive deterrent to anyone trying to illegally cross and to the smugglers profiting off of peoples bad situations.
