Rejected petition make the roads of efford/laira safer with speed limits or speed bumps
the community of efford/laira would like speed limits with speed cameras or speed bumps to be place on Pike Road and Blandford Road to prevent the death of animals and to prevent humans from getting injured/killed.
More details
several animals (cats & dogs) including my own, have been run over, killed and left on the roads by reckless drivers. A serious accident is going to happen on these roads if something doesn’t change. Several people use these roads as race tracks and the pain it causes to the animal owners who lose there pets because of the speed people drive isn’t fair whatsoever. The pain it would cause to somebody’s family if there was an accident also could be very devastating.
Change needs to happen.
