I want the government to make the BBC self funding, and abolish the television licence.

The television licence is an unfair tax on the public. There are now hundreds of TV channels none of which require a TV licence. The BBC should have to stand on its own two feet. Many of the programs that are on the BBC are repeated. If the BBC struggle financially thy should take a luck at the salaries they pay to their staff.
