Rejected petition Petition to Stop the Proposed Housing Development Birch Hill, Aldridge
Strongly opposed to the proposed housing development in Birch Hill, Aldridge.
This development threatens to negatively impact the local community, environment, and infrastructure
More details
• Loss of Green Space: one of the few remaining natural areas in Aldridge that offers a haven for wildlife and a peaceful space for residents.
• Increased Traffic and Congestion: The local roads are already heavily used. Additional housing would put further strain on an already congested road network.
• Pressure on Local Services: Local schools, GP surgeries, and emergency services are already overstretched and cannot sustain a large influx of new residents.
• Flooding and Drainage Concerns: The land in question may not be suitable for large-scale development due to water runoff and potential flood risk.
