Petition Extend Schooling from 16 years old to 18 years old

Instead of School Leavers leaving school at 16, extend this by 2 years. In these 2 years the pupils will either:

1. Continue education, Along the lines of the current 6th Form. Helping those pupils to concentrate on their further education studies to best prepare them for their selected Universities/Colleges

2. Trade Training, Pupils who want to learn a trade would have 2 years in which to learn their chosen trade.

3. Life skills, Further to the above, Pupils will be encouraged to attend life skill classes, Financial, Parenting, How to pay bills etc.

Benefits: Pupils will be much more prepared for life, and the difficulties that it throws at us. Retired/Redundant tradesmen/women who have a lifetime of skills to pass on to the new generation.
