We want local elections held in every town or city before it is designated as a sanctuary area for migrants.

People are not getting the choice on whether their communities will become a sanctuary city or town. This is being decided for them. Local elections need to be held before anywhere is designated as a sanctuary city or town for migrants by a council. This should not be decided by a local council alone. Local communities should be given that decision.
