Petition Raif Badawi - Expel the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the UK

More details

Raif Badawi was recently sentenced to 1000 lashes and 10 years' imprisonment for setting up a liberal website, criticising the Saudi Arabian government.

Despite international condemnation, the Saudi Arabian authorities have proceeded with the penalty.

I respectfully request that the amabassador for Saudi Arabia, to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, be ordered to vacate until this situtation is positively resolved in favour of the freedoms of speech, expression and religion.

Saudi Arabia has broken international law here (and in other, less well-known cases too) - We must not be seen to collude with it.
