Rejected petition: Close the borders.

Rejected on

Britain is a small island, and right now everything feels too stretched—our housing, services, daily costs, food, health care and everything in between. Closing the borders for five years would give us time to get immigration under control, ease pressure, and rebuild trust in our country’s future.

We, the people, urge the government to pause immigration for 5 years, fix housing, schools, the NHS and broken systems, and cut living costs. Britain is a small island that the world wants to live in, but British families should not be paying the price. We are drowning and cannot afford life this way any longer. Put British people first, restore stability, and make Britain great again. We demand urgent action from our governments. We can not continue in this way.
