Rejected petition Make CPR and basic life support part of the national curriculum

We want the government to make COR and basic life support part of the national curriculum for all school children in the U.K.

More details

Every minute counts during a cardiac arrest and as nurses with over 60years combined experience we have seen the ramifications of delayed or poor CPR. Early good CPR can triple a person’s chances of survival. Teaching school children COR and basic life support could equip a whole generation and future generations with lifesaving skills.
We believe this training should be a mandatory & assessed part of the national curriculum across ALL UK nations to ensure consistent, lifesaving skills for all
