Rejected petition: Petition for Parent/Child Parking Badges in the UK
Rejected on
I am calling for the introduction of official Parent/Child Parking Badges — similar to the Blue Badge system for families with children up to their 16th birthday.
Too often, parent/child spaces are misused by people without children, leaving families struggling to find safe, accessible parking.
These spaces are essential for unloading buggies, car seats, and giving kids space to get in and out safely.
A clear, regulated badge system would help ensure these bays are used properly and fairly.
