Petition Childs abduction
More details
There are British women living in the U.K who have children with Algerian fathers. As Algeria has not signed up to the Hague Convention if fathers abduct the children and take them to Algeria the British government cannot intervene. These abduction are often made possible because fathers in custody battles can apply for Algerian passport.
We call on the British Government to please:
(1) Put pressure on the Algerian Goverment to sign up
to The Hague Convention.
(2) Find ways to ensure that the Algerian Embassy
Does Not Provide Algerian passport for children
Involved in a custody battles.
(3) Seek to find ways to prevent and find British
Children being taken out of the UK. Even if they
have dual nationality.
