A meeting was held by the commonality of Huddersfield where it was decided to oppose the council authority in the matter of land usage and development at Fenay Bridge by petitioning both or either house for a legislative solution or other remedy, act, instrument to give powers to the local people
In order to prevent the Kirklees council authority from passing any further development here. The community therefore seek to extend their powers by asking for legislation to give effect to protection of this area from the council. Resolved. To collect signatures from the United Kingdom registered voters.by epetition to the interest
