I am writing to urge the government to introduce a free bus pass for all under 16s in England. I think this would tackle child poverty, boost education access, encourage independence, support the environment and improve safety.

The potential savings from reduced healthcare costs (due to cleaner air), less road maintenance, and a more productive workforce should be taken into account.
