We want the UK Government to make it a legal requirement for every school in the country to have trained security personnel on-site during all hours when children are present. Schools should be safe spaces.
Schools should be safe spaces. The rise in violent incidents, threats, and intrusions shows that children, teachers, and staff are vulnerable. Mandatory security personnel would deter crime, ensure faster response to emergencies, and give parents peace of mind.
Why was this petition rejected?
