The government should reverse the imposition of its VAT policy on independent schools as this is tantamount to an attack on hard working families who make significant sacrifices and put great value on their children's education.

Without such a reversal, this will only serve to widen the divide between independent schools and put greater pressure on state schools themselves, which will wipe out any savings generated from such a policy.
