Closed Stop Operation Stack on the M20

During travel disruption at the Port of Dover and the Channel Tunnel the M20 coastbound between Maidstone and Dover is used as a lorry park. This causes major disruption to much of the road network in Kent impacting on residents and business alike.
To bring Operation Stack to an end the Government should provide lorries with sufficient lorry park facilities and finance this with a toll charged at the point of entry into the UK on all lorries.
