Petition Fund free NHS dentist treatment for all UK Citizens
During times such as the currently financial crisis many people including those who work full time are struggling to excess dentist treatment due to the cost. Make it free for all UK citizens to access.
More details
Every UK citizen should have the right the free dental treatment. Dental treatment can be very expensive and ultimately without such treatment it can have long term adverse implications that actually could cost the NHS and government more to resolve and care for. Just because someone is working full time it does not mean that they can afford to pay, and actually quite often working individuals are worse off due to the lack of support.

NHS dentists: debate in Parliament
On 5 February, MPs took part in a debate on NHS dentists.
This was an adjournment debate led by Alex Easton MP. Health Minister Stephen Kinnock MP responded on behalf of the Government.
Explainer
Adjournment debates give an MP the opportunity to debate a topic they choose, and receive a response from the Government.
They are a way to:
- raise awareness of an issue
- seek to influence government policy
- put the views of the MP and the Government on record.
They do not involve a vote on a particular action or decision.
The debates take place at the end of each day in the House of Commons. They last for 30 minutes.
