Rejected petition Call a referendum so people that don’t want tax money to contribute to illegals

As the country seems to be getting very mixed feelings about the illegal asylum seekers we should have a referendum where the British voters can vote if they want or do not want their taxes being spent on the illegals,

More details

Those who vote to opt out should pay less tax, those that want to help pay more taxes with a clause that if the offer to house these refugees their taxes would not be affected,
Thus freeing up the hotels cost,
As a democratic country surely the public should decide where their taxes are spent rather than having it forced on them to pay for something they do not want to,

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure if you want a referendum on financial support for asylum seekers, or whether you'd like the tax system to be changed so that people can choose to opt-out of taxes supporting asylum seekers if they wish to.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
