Petition Let Us Vote & Stand in the UK Parliamentary Elections! EU Citizens' Campaign

More details

EU Citizens which are not citizens of the country where they have their residence are excluded from fully participating in the political debate, because they have no voting rights in national elections.
They take part in the economic and social life there, and also pay taxes to their new state of residence.
We want to eliminate inequality and allow all EU citizens the chance to exercise all their democratic rights by voting and/or standing in the national elections of the state in which they live.
Aims:
1. Eliminate discrimination against EU citizens resident in the UK when compared with Commonwealth citizens in the UK.
2. Make it possible for all EU citizens resident in the UK to vote and stand in UK Parliamentary elections, even if they are not UK citizens.
3. Grant all mobile European Union citizens the right to vote & stand in the national elections of the European Union country in which they live, even if they are not citizens of that country.
