Rejected petition: Introduce a PM recall system to the UK

Rejected on

Introduce a PM recall system allowing the public to trigger a re-election if the Prime Minister loses significant public support, ensuring accountability and democratic choice between elections.

Citizens currently have no direct way to remove an unpopular Prime Minister between elections. A recall system would allow a petition for re-election to trigger a no-confidence vote, requiring 1 million signatures on the petition and at least 65% public turnout on the vote, strengthening democratic accountability and giving the public a real voice.
