Petition Stop changes to the large programme uplift funding to protect our education
The Large Programme Uplift (LPU) has been changed to only support the transition of students to "Priority Sectors" of industry. This Programme is being used by many state schools to support a variety of academic goals, not just "math".
More details
The government should focus on levelling up education, regardless if it is in academia, trade schools, STEM, or whatever pushes individuals to excel within their desires, goals, dreams and capabilities. Reorienting LPU impacts funding from other programmes, like the International Baccalaureate Diploma and we want to ensure funding remains in place.
