Rejected petition: Increase the amount of time given to answer english lang paper 2 at GCSE level

At GCSE level english language youre given 1hr and 45 minutes for the whole paper (5 questions), but i feel this isnt enough to gain all the marks aswell as read and understand all the sources,the exam should show who has good comprehension instead of who can write more in the shortest time.
The exam should show how good your understanding is of english language not how much you can write in a short amount of time, it should be quality over quantity and i feel like some extra time dosent hinder anyone but will allow people to show their true abillity, this will potentially raise the grade boundaries; it focuses the aim of the exam; reduces the amount of fails and lets people fully show their skills.
