Students living in accommodation blocks are paying hundreds of pounds per week on rent but then have to pay to use the communal washing machines and tumble dryers. One load of washing and drying costs in the region of £8-£12.

Make this a part of the extortionate rent price. My daughter is a first year student in London and pays over £300 a week for her rent and is expected to then pay an extra £8 per load of washing. It is a basic human right to be able to clean clothes and should not be considered an extra expense when it's a necessity
