Open petition: New Law on adoption and muzzling of greyhound dogs
Created by Amy-Jayne French
Closes on
We call on the Government to introduce a new law to:
1. Introduce a vetting process of people seeking to adopt or purchase greyhounds to ensure that they are competent to do so. Factors such as age, frailty, experience, and knowledge of the specific dog being adopted should be thoroughly assessed.
2. Greyhounds should have to wear muzzles in public.
