We ask the Government to require registration and insurance for all high-powered electric bikes, and to restrict sale of unregistered or untraceable vehicles.

Dangerous and unregistered electric motorbikes are being ridden on pavements and roads, often by youths wearing balaclavas. They can’t be traced because they have no registration plates. The police have limited powers to stop them as they cannot be identified nor easily caught.
