Rejected petition: Restrict fireworks to public events for pet safety

Rejected on

For pet safety, fireworks should be at public events ONLY. They should also either be a low decibel or silent as 90% of fireworks scare animals.

Throughout October to January, pet owners have to cope with petrified animals. Dealing with shaking, hiding underneath things, biting, toilet accidents, escaping animals and even paying a high vet prices for drugs.

We do a lot in this country to help SEN children and adults, but animals need help to, especially as they cannot advocate for themselves.
