Rejected petition Save Britain’s Classic Cars – Protect the 40-Year Historic Vehicle Rule!

Protect the 40-year historic vehicle exemption and ensure no changes reduce or remove this status. Keep the right to register, own and use historic vehicles as part of Britain’s cultural, technical, and economic heritage.

More details

Classic cars are part of Britain’s living history and support thousands of skilled jobs in restoration, engineering, and small business. They are driven sparingly, have minimal environmental impact, and preserve vital heritage skills. Changing the 40-year rule would harm culture, jobs, and craftsmanship.
