Classic cars are part of Britain’s living history and support thousands of skilled jobs in restoration, engineering, and small business. They are driven sparingly, have minimal environmental impact, and preserve vital heritage skills. Changing the 40-year rule would harm culture, jobs, and craftsmanship.

The Government hasn't announced it will be introducing vehicle tax for classic vehicles. Including in the Chancellor's budget statement which you can read the statement here:
