Rejected petition End experiments on animals at the Charles River Labratories in East Lothian.
Protect the reputation of East Lothian and build a positive future without the stigma of animal experiments which take place at Charles River Labratories in Tranent.
More details
Having Charles River Labratories in Tranent, Edinburgh portrays a negative view of the area amongst residents, tourists and reflects badly on nearby businesses. Although the practice of animal experiments is already widely protested across the UK, the local residents of East Lotian and Scotland feel the practice has no place in our area and wish parliament to consider putting an end to the reputation it brings to East Lothian.
