Rejected petition Paul Bloomfield

More details

Paul Bloomfield has paid no tax for a long number of years despite being a multi millionaire. Moreover, HMRC are aware of this situation and have taken no action.

We, the people of the UK, call upon the Attorney Generals office to initiate a criminal investigation into both Mr Bloomfield affairs and senior staffs at HMRC.

The object of the investigation is to bring before the courts misconduct in public office and to recover the tax owed by Mr Bloomfield to the public purse.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

The Attorney General's Office does not perform an investigatory function and therefore cannot look into any allegations of criminal activity.

If you believe that a crime has been committed then you should report it to the police for invetsigation.

Our office also cannot look into the actions of staff in another government department and you should contatc HMRC direct with any concerns you have.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
