Closed petition Police Officers should be allowed to wear Thin Blue Line Union Jack Patch.

Closed on

All Uniformed Police Officers within the United Kingdom should be authorised to wear a thin blue line union jack flag patch to show support for fellow police officers who have fallen in the line of duty.

A sussex police inspector has ruled the patch offensive and ordered an officer to remove it from his/her uniform.

The patch which is attached to the police uniform has already raised almost £6000 to support the families of police officers who have died in the line of duty.

Police Officers are allowed to wear a union jack flag to support our british troops.

We believe they should be allowed to wear a union jack flag with a thin blue line to show support for fellow police officers and families.
