Rejected petition Recover the estimated £21 Billion (audit office) lost from fraud during covid.
I expect the government to form a department of investigation comprised of specialist fraud investigators and police.
Those responsible for these fraudulent claims need to be pursued, arrested and put before a Court. The amounts taken need to be recovered.

The taxpayer was severely ‘ripped’ off by scrupulous fraudsters to the tune of an estimated 21 Billion pounds.
Recovery of this money would go a long way to reducing the National debt.
One has to ask why there hasn’t been any drive to investigate and pursue these fraudsters?
It’s absolutely beyond belief that there is no recovery scheme in place.
