Rejected petition Bring back stop and search policing regardless of ethnicity

Stop and search policing should be bought back as standard policing to make all our streets safer.
Police should be able to stop any person or persons regardless of ethnicity, if they have a suspicion or just a general check to make sure no knives or weapons are found.

More details

The government have a duty of care to the British public and visitors to this country .
The BRITISH Police force should have the full backing of the UK GOVERNMENT WITHOUT FEAR of being accused of being RACIST or any other discrimination that is used these days against an officer or officers stopping them doing their job properly.
Myself and my partner are doing this with our God Daughter in mind who was the dance teacher in the Southport stabbings .

The police has the power to stop and search if they have reasonable grounds to do so: https://www.gov.uk/police-powers-to-stop-and-search-your-rights/police-powers-stop-search

Decisions on under what circumstances to use the powers are operational decisions for the police.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
