Create stricter rules around the sale of fireworks and who they’re sold to. I believe you should have a license to buy fireworks and they can only be used for specific events like bonfire night and New Year’s Eve.

Fireworks have been on sale since before Halloween and since they’ve been on sale, they’re being set off at all times of the day, every day. It’s becoming a nuisance in communities, stressful for pets, they’re dangerous and it puts unnecessary pressure on firefighters. Every year it’s getting worse. There was article in the paper last week of teens setting them off against people’s homes. Something needs to change.
