Rejected petition: Give people a legal right to own and carry a self defence pepper spray in public
Rejected on
Presently in the eyes of the law there is no or a very ambiguous means of what a person can or can’t do in order to defend themselves if they come under attack
For many years the subject of what a member of the public whether at home or elsewhere can do to defend themselves or loved ones has left people wondering what they can & can’t do.
Therefore I request that Parliament discuss this Non lethal method of self defence and legislate it’s use without fear of prosecution when used in defence.
