Make it illegal to sell fireworks to the general public and ban their use in residential areas. Fireworks should only be available to licensed organisers for use at approved public events.

Loud explosions and bright flashes can terrify animals, pollute the environment, and pose risks of injury and fire in neighbourhoods. Restricting fireworks to controlled public events would allow celebrations to continue safely, while protecting communities, animals, and the environment from unnecessary harm.
