Rejected petition: Allow a national ballot on the implementation of Danish style immigration.

Rejected on

Allow a national ballot to implement a Danish style immigration policy as outlined in a recent BBC article detailing the possible adoption of measures by the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood.

To allow the policy to be put to the people of the United Kingdom in the form of a national ballot.
This policy is of such importance to the nation that government alone cannot make the decision to implement it or not.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition setting out more clearly what measures would be included in such an immigration policy, and on which you would like there to be votes.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
