Rejected petition Restrict Fireworks to Organised and Advertised Events in the United Kingdom
We want the UK Government to restrict the sale and use of fireworks so that they can only be used at licensed, professionally organised, and publicly advertised events.
More details
Private use of fireworks causes distress to people, pets, livestock and wildlife, and leads to injuries, fires and antisocial behaviour. Fireworks are often set off without warning, making it impossible for people and animals to prepare.
By putting restrictions in place, these changes would help protect communities, reduce harm, and ensure fireworks are used safely and responsibly.
