Rejected petition No Party in Government can change the PM without a general election
Legislate that no political party when in Government can change its Leader and de facto prime Minister without a General Election. The exception would be due to death or ill health and in this case the deputy Prime Minister would become PM
More details
the UK requires stability in Government and in its leaders and it is unacceptable that a Prime Minister unelected by the UK public can Govern therefore unless through extreme Ill health or death an elected Party’s Prime Minister must continue for the term of that government. should the party have the desire to change its leader it can do so but subject to a general election.
