Auctioning care for the elderly is an outrage, these individuals are being treated as insignificant numbers these councils should be stoped from do this.
It should be raised as a Safeguarding against the councils,
it also gives the indvidual no real choice which is a basic human right,
it shows no Dignity or respect of the individual
The channel 5 report shows that they are awarding care to care homes that the councils have rated poor.

The goverment needs to ban this type of auction and they need to look at taking action against councils that have put individuals into homes based on this method
