We respectfully urge the UK Government and Parliament to support and advocate for a peaceful, people-driven restructuring of Nigeria into autonomous regional governments. As a nation significantly shaped by the UK, the UK has historical responsibility to champion and ensure this is achieved.

We further call on Parliament to commission debates, hearings, and policy reviews highlighting the benefits of regional autonomy for conflict reduction, improved governance, and sustainable development in Nigeria. The UK should also support technical assistance, research collaborations, and peace-building initiatives that facilitate this restructuring in a lawful and democratic manner.

Our plea is for the UK to stand firmly for justice, self-determination, and stability.
