Most of these migrants are on COS.
Some employers are taking advantage of them because they need them to extend their stay.
If the new changes are made, it will empower the abusive employers.
Migrants are not coming forward to report the abuse due to fear of losing the sponsorship.
Also, the cost of renewing their Visas and the impact it will have on families is immense. It will keep people in destitution and children will be impacted the most.
Whereby when they have lLR, they can work more.
