Proposed immigration rules may extend settlement to 15 years, causing deep uncertainty for those already in demanding roles. We do not seek benefits; we seek stability and dignity for our families. We ask the Government to recognise care workers’ essential contribution and grant ILR after 5 years of continuous service so the care sector can survive and grow
