Rejected petition No to digital ID Us the British people do not want digital id

We do not want digital id
We the British people feel it's a breach of are personal lives. We do not want to be on a system were everything we do will be watched and monitored. We've seen how it works in other countries and it's not for us we don't want it.

More details

We feel this would be a step towards mass surveillance and digital control, and that no one should be forced to register with a state-controlled ID system. We oppose the creation of any national ID system. The digital id won't make a difference to illegal migrants.
Digital ID were scrapped in 2010, in our view for good reason. Not everyone has a mobile phone dose this mean they will suffer lose out?
Would be nice for the government to listen to what the British people want for are community.
