Rejected petition: Transitional Arrangements for Existing ILR Applicants

Rejected on

I urge the Government to introduce transitional arrangements for migrants legally residing in the UK, ensuring existing ILR qualifying periods are protected. Skilled Worker, Health & Care, Study/Graduate, and ECAA routes, as well as the rights of children and dependants, must be safeguarded.

Transitional arrangements are needed to prevent unfair retroactive changes for migrants already on settlement pathways. Protecting existing ILR qualifying periods ensures fairness, stability, and security for those contributing to UK society, including their children and dependants.
