Open Review and strengthen nail industry regulations

We ask the Government to improve nail industry standards by reviewing health and safety regulations to make them strong, mandating technician training and certification, requiring regular salon inspections, and putting limits on harmful chemicals to protect workers and customers.

Many nail salons operate without consistent safety standards, which could put workers and clients at risk from chemicals, infections, and untrained staff. Government intervention could set safety standards, require certification, and enforce inspections to protect public health and improve industry professionalism.
