Rejected petition Protect jury trials as stated in our 1689 bill of rights
This government wants to scrap most jury trials. This is our right under the English constitution. Our bill of rights 1689 states we have the right to a fair trial by jury. Jury trials have been around for over 800 years and the bedrock of freedom and democracy. This must be protected always.
