Rejected petition Death sentence for murder

I would like to introduce a death sentence for any persons committing murder

More details

I believe the public need a serious threat if they commit a crime of murder
That being a death sentence
I think this will make people think again about carry a knife or any other weapon if the penalty is severe
Jail sentence is not enough
Let’s be honest a modern jail sentence appears to be a luxury, no bills to be paid, hot food provided, recreational activities- this ain’t punishment

People need to have fear that if they commit this crime it is life or death
